Silicon Arts Design
In the world of audio, there are matters of taste and there are absolutes. Loudspeakers, as transducers, all have strong “characters,” leading to widely divergent tastes for one or another type of speaker — dynamic, electrostatic, planar magnetic, horn, hybrid, etc. — and widely divergent preferences for particular implementations within a given type of speaker.
But when it comes to high-end electronics, the goal is more straightforward and absolute — to pass the signal to the next stage, amplified, impedance-matched, converted, or whatever, with the least degradation to that signal.
The better the electronics, the more immediate and unprocessed is the sound, with greater transparency and harmonic and timbral nuance, faster transients, more audible detail, and finer microdynamic gradations.
In short, the better the electronics, the more present and exciting and emotionally involving the music becomes.
AT SILICON ARTS DESIGN, we have gone to fanatic extremes to simplify and optimize our circuitry and layout so that our electronics can eliminate as much as possible of what stands between the music signal and the listener.
Our designs implement our unique Direct Signal Path Technology (DSPT), which follows Einstein’s maxim that things should be made as simple as possible but no simpler!
We believe that once you hear our electronics, you will become much more attuned to, and less tolerant of, the opaqueness and colorations and dulling of electronics which contain too many parts and too much compensating circuitry.
Through a Zen-like fusion of creativity and simplicity, we have allowed the least circuitry to suffice. We believe you will find the results simply profound!
